Ephesians 2:10

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 The first lesson in the Self-Confrontation Bible Study workbook lays the foundation. In it you learn that it is impossible to live a life pleasing to God if you do not have a relationship with God. Without salvation in Jesus and the help of the Holy Spirit - you cannot please God. "So ALL roads do not lead to Rome". The Bible says this about salvation: Romans 10:8-10 Mark 1:15 Luke 13:3 John 17:3 John 14:6 (this is not exhaustive or conclusive, just a few of the verses) So as sinners we must confess that we are such and in need of Jesus, believing that He, is the son of God, who died for our sins, was buried and rose again. You Can Change Biblically...

You can change Biblically! This is the title of the first lesson in the student workbook for the Self-Confrontation Bible study. The title of the study is a huge "whammy". What?! Here is what the workbook has to say about it: Many believers struggle with their relationships with others and become defeated in the way they handle the matters of life. This is usually because self gets in the way; there is a great battle between the flesh and the spirit (Galatians 5:17). It is necessary to deal with this war within; hence the title "Self-Confrontation." Picnicking outside our church (which meets in a Middle School Cafeteria - for those Calvary Chapelites this is nothing out of the ordinary) I was listening to the Pastor's wife talk about the lesson with another woman.
